This piece was inspired by the Children of the Forest - a mysterious non-human race (from Game of Thrones) that originally inhabited the continent of Westeros during the Dawn Age long before the arrival of the First Men thousands of years ago.
The face on this stone represents the "faces in the trees," as the green vines within the stone slowly grow to overtake it. The stone is called Mariposite, or "butterfly stone," containing a mixture of quartz, dolomite, and green mica. It is said to aid in meditation and emotional healing.
The stone itself is rather large, measuring about 2.25 inches in length and 1.25 inches in width. It comes on a 24-inch antiqued copper chain. If you would prefer a different length of chain or leather cord, please include a note at checkout.
