The fragility of porcelain with a bite force of 20,000 PSI (about three times as much as an alligator or great white shark!)
This piece is made using a real taxidermy piranha from the Amazon River, adorned with a delicate blue floral design reminiscent of Delft porcelain. The fish itself measures about 8 inches long and comes on a 5-inch stained wooden base. It is held in place by five brass rods. The total height of the piece measures about 6.5 inches. Its real eyes have been left in their natural dried state, and the teeth are coated with gold leaf.
It has been coated in a protective clear coat, but is not suitable for outdoor display or in animal enclosures.
