Tooth jewelry has been around almost as long as humans themselves, although Queen Victoria really made it into a fashion trend. It was notably popular as a mourning custom, but also used to symbolize milestones like losing a baby tooth and gifts from hunting trips (although these would obviously be made with deer or boar!)
This pendant is made using a real, antique human tooth, electroformed in 100% copper on an ornate shadowbox-style frame. The frame itself measures about 1.75 inches and comes on a 20-inch antiqued copper chain.
