A real monarch butterfly wing that has been electroformed in 100% copper, adorned with a large clear quartz stone to see the pattern underneath. This wing was collected last year from a found butterfly - never purchased or harmed.

Monarch butterflies are symbols of transformation and rebirth. It is said that when a monarch butterfly crosses your path, it is time to take a moment to reflect on your life's path, and it may be time to make a change.

Look closely and you can see the fine details of the butterfly's wings and body, delicately coated in metal.

Comes on a 30" antiqued copper chain. If you would prefer a different length of chain or leather cord, please include a note at checkout.

All electroformed jewelry includes a copper care sheet as well as a jewelry polishing cloth to keep your piece looking its finest.

***The western monarch population faces extinction: Its population has dropped by an estimated 99.9 percent over the past 40 years, from ten million in the 1980s to 1,914 in 2021. Experts are concerned that not enough butterflies remain to keep the population alive. 10% of proceeds from this piece will be donated to the Xerces Society for Invertebrate Conservation, who are working to restore habitats, conduct research, and enact policies to protect these creatures.***
