A hand-carved pale labradorite with an intricate butterfly shape and design. A copper-plated human skull replica transforms this piece into a unique death's head moth design. It has been electroformed in 100% copper around the edges of the stone to create one solid piece.
The death's head moth is known as the "rebel of the moth world." Strikingly large, with a skull-like marking on its thorax and the ability to squeak when alarmed, the moth was traditionally seen as an omen of death.
Labradorite is known as a stone of transformation and magick. This particular stone is quite pale, and has just the faintest shimmers of green and golden flash.
This piece measures about 2 inches across and comes on a thick, antiqued 18-inch copper chain. If you would prefer a different length of chain or leather cord, please include a note at checkout.
All electroformed jewelry includes a copper care sheet as well as a jewelry polishing cloth to keep your piece looking its finest.
