Pass crabs are a species of Florida crab very similar to a blue crab, that swim on the surface of the ocean and are often used as tarpon bait. The claws are removed to protect them from each other and are usually tossed back into the ocean. These claws are recycled from a charter fishing company in St. Petersburg, Florida.

Each claw is clutching its own little treasure, either rainbow moonstone or larimar.

Rainbow moonstone is associated with hope, harmony and confidence. Its flashy colors come from light diffraction within the mineral's layers, with iridescence that varies from pink and orange to green and blue.

Larimar is a pale blue stone only found in the Dominican Republic. Its marbling patterns look like the ocean which surrounds the country, and its calming presence is said to help with anxiety.

Select your choice from these options.

  • A - Larimar 1.5"
  • B - Larimar 1.75"
  • C - Moonstone 2.5"
  • D - Moonstone 2"

Each necklace comes on a 24 inch antiqued copper chain. If you would prefer a different length of chain or leather cord, please include a note at checkout.

All electroformed jewelry includes a copper care sheet as well as a jewelry polishing cloth to keep your piece looking its finest.
