Delft Squirrel

This piece is inspired by blue and white pottery, known by different names from many different countries, including Delft or Delftware, transferware (French), or pinyin (Chinese). 

Squirrels are cute but they can be a little crazy! This little guy has a particularly intense look about him, which was somehow not softened at all by transforming him into his current porcelain-inspired state. 

Made with a real taxidermy squirrel and branch. A hanger is attached to the top to fit perfectly on any wall, preferably next to a china cabinet. 

It has been coated in a protective clear coat but is not suitable for outdoor display.
