Diaphonization is a preservation technique invented in the 1970s to get a better look at a creatures anatomy. Also referred to as "clearing and staining," it uses chemicals to first remove all color, then dye the muscles, bones, and cartilage. Look closely to see all of its tiny bones!

Each necklace measures about 2.25 inches and comes on a 24-inch stainless steel chain.
