Golden Sheen Deaths Head

A gorgeous, hand-carved golden sheen obsidian with a unique deaths head hawkmoth moth design. It has been electroformed in 100% copper around the edges of the stone to create one solid piece. 

The death's head moth is known as the "rebel of the moth world." Strikingly large, with a skull-like marking on its thorax and the ability to squeak when alarmed, the moth was traditionally seen as an omen of death. 

This large piece measures just over 3 inches across by 2.5 inches tall, and comes on a thick antiqued 18-inch copper chain. If you would prefer a different length or style of chain, please include a note at checkout.
