Honey Bee
Honey Bee
Honey bees, those industrious little pollinators, play a crucial role in our ecosystem by pollinating flowers and crops essential for our food supply. Did you know that honey bees communicate through dance? They perform a unique "waggle dance" to convey the location of nectar sources to their hive mates, showcasing their remarkable intelligence and teamwork!
This piece was created using a preserved female worker bee, collected and donated by a local beekeeper after its natural death - never bought or killed for the purpose of creating art. It has been electroformed in 100% copper with a real paper wasp nest and a bright yellow heated amethyst (often called citrine) crystal.
This piece measures about 1.75 inches in length and comes on a 22-inch antiqued copper chain. If you would prefer a different length of chain or leather cord, please include a note at checkout.
All electroformed jewelry includes a copper care sheet as well as a jewelry polishing cloth to keep your piece looking its finest.
