Honey Bee
Honey Bee
Honey bees are not only skilled architects of their intricate hive structures but also master navigators. They use the position of the sun as a compass to find their way back to the hive after foraging for nectar and pollen, showcasing their ability to navigate complex environments with precision and efficiency.
This piece was created using a preserved female worker bee, collected and donated by a local beekeeper after its natural death - never bought or killed for the purpose of creating art. It has been electroformed in 100% copper with a real paper wasp nest and a bright yellow heated amethyst (often called citrine) crystal.
This piece measures about 1.5 inches in length and comes on a 20-inch antiqued copper chain with a 2-inch extender. If you would prefer a different length of chain or leather cord, please include a note at checkout.
All electroformed jewelry includes a copper care sheet as well as a jewelry polishing cloth to keep your piece looking its finest.
