Labradorite Claw Amulet

The crab is a symbol of self-sufficiency and confidence. The tarot card "The Chariot" is often associated with the crab - its hard, protective exoskeleton represents protecting ourselves from the challenges of everyday life. 

Stone crabs are native to the warm waters around Florida, and are one species of crab that are able to be sustainably harvested. Once caught, only one claw is removed and the crab is returned to the water. The claw grows back within a year. For half the year, they are off limits, allowing them to mate and breed without interruption.

These matching crab claws were donated by a local fisherman, carefully cleaned, and then electroformed in 100% copper. A large, flashy labradorite represents transformation and magick, as well as protection from the negativity of the world.
