Moonstone Ornate Cicada

This 17-year cicada specimen was collected after its natural death during the 2024 historical emergence. It has been carefully preserved and electroformed in 100% copper, with filigree accents and a flashy rainbow moonstone crystal replacing its abdomen. 

Cicadas are symbols of immortality and transformation - a reminder to move through change and life transitions with ease and grace rather than fear and resistance. Rainbow moonstone, also known as white labradorite, is thought to bring balance, harmony and hope while enhancing creativity, compassion, endurance and inner confidence.

The wingspan of this cicada measures 3 inches across, and comes on a 20-inch antiqued copper chain. If you would prefer a different length of chain or leather cord, please include a note at checkout.
