Moonstone Scorpion

This large desert scorpion has been carefully preserved and electroplated in copper, with a flashy rainbow moonstone with black tourmaline inclusions.

Ethically sourced means that this scorpion was only collected after its natural death and was not harmed. Electroplating, also known as electroforming, is a metal forming process that uses electricity to "grow" a metal onto another surface - this means that the actual scorpion is still preserved underneath a layer of 100% copper.

The scorpion symbolizes death, although this rarely means a physical death. In tarot, the death card represents our need to fully experience the end of something, even if it brings grief and sorrow. Scorpions are also nocturnal, and the moonstone represents their nighttime nature.
