Mushroom Fox

This piece is inspired by blue and white pottery, known by different names from many different countries, including Delft or Delftware, transferware (French), or pinyin (Chinese). Instead of intricate floral or landscape scenes, this red fox skull has been covered with vintage-style illustrations of mushrooms. 

Foxes are often associated with the European countryside, and the cottage-style imagery this piece is intended to evoke includes rolling green hills, bubbling brooks, a bit of grandeur and a lot of relaxation.

The entire skull measures 5 inches long, 3 inches wide, and 3 inches tall. It has been coated in a protective clear coat, but it not suitable for use outdoors or in animal enclosures.
