Opal Hatchling

This baby gecko was found naturally deceased - in Florida it's super common to find little dead geckos and anoles all over :( My goal in these preservations is to give them a sort of "life" that they were never able to have.

Hatchlings are paired with cantera opals that resemble tiny worlds or eggs, almost like an alien movie where you can see the life growing from inside.

Look closely to see the details in the stone and the gecko itself! Its tail doubles as a bail to hang from the chain.

This piece measures about 1x1 inch and comes on a 20-inch antiqued copper chain. If you would prefer a different length of chain or leather cord, please include a note at checkout.
